We handled different national and international credit lines of EXIM BANK INDIA, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd ADB & IDA project, EXIMBANK JAPAN, SAUDI GRANT, KUIET FUND, for private industrial sector, through BSB, BSRS, BKB, RKUB, SONALI, RUPALI, AGRANI, JANATA, AB BANK, IFIC BANK, SABINCO for our valuable clients.   We dealt with USAID, OXFAM, CIDA, SIDA, ODA funded project with NGO’s like BRAC, GSS, GUP etc. in agro fisheries project from 1986 to 1990.

A group of Engineers, Architects, Scientists, Economist, Financial Analyst, Lawyers  and Management personnel having experience  and also shared a common vision got together with a definite objective and strong conviction – SPANCER MULTI ENGINEERING CONSULTANT SERVICE  came into being in 1984 and got registration from Technical Assistance Coordination Cell (TACC), External Resource Division (ERD) Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh in 1986.

SMECS started their journey when 1^st stage industrialization was reintroduced after our liberation war in private sector and the government of Bangladesh introduced a program for developing the local consultants for facing the new challenges in the industrial arena by forming Technical Assistance Coordination Cell (TACC) in External Relations Department under Ministry of Planning in 1984. SMECS was registered in TACC on 1986. The key-personnel of the Company rendering consultancy services to almost all sectors of development, planning and management right from the conceptual stage to final implementation level for the last thirty five years. In this long journey SMECS developed their skilled in consultancy on techno-economic, financial, marketing, environmental and legal feasibility studies, towards industrial, agro-fisheries, livestock sector. Specially in automobile sector SMECS developed its expertise in local automobile manufacturing, preventive and curative maintenance, fleet management, automobile club forming etc. In socio economic sectors, providing technical assistance in building designing, plants and machinery erecting, commissioning, technical training in HR development and value added, business planning, marketing strategy preparation, risk model analysis, budgeting, arranging local and foreign fund for entrepreneurs.

We also took several consultancies in different industrial, agricultural-livestock integrated projects, socio-economical NGO based projects feasibility study report preparation, technology transfer, plant & machinery installation, market research,, management training on production process, marketing & merchandizing etc. prepare project proposal for obtaining credit facilities from financial institution under IDA & ADB projects in the 80,s & 90’s decade. Recent 10 years we successfully worked on textile, garments, jewellery and automobile based industry and green energy based housing based on mini solar power plant, for making their feasibility study report preparation, factory architectural design, structural design, civil construction management & supervision, selection of machinery & supervision of machinery erection and installation, supply of materials, leasing of equipment and machine for project work, management training on production, safety arrangement, compliance, marketing and quality management.
